What is battle royale?
Battle royale is a simple concept: multiple opponents, last one standing wins. Players start empty handed and must gather resources, outmanoeuvre opponents, and survive to the end.​​

Frequent shifts of favour mean success is not solely determined by combat ability. As a result each game tells a unique story, creating moments that will stick in the mind—whether from making you laugh, despair or revel in victory.

Matches mostly play out with stretches of calm. These are opportunities to explore your surroundings, find valuable equipment and plan ahead. Then, at any given moment, the calm will end—you'll skydive, race cars at high speed, shoot high-calibre rifles, escape explosions, and much more.

‘Ultimate’ signifies an ambition to provide the most authentic battle royale experience possible.
Resource costs and safety concerns restrict us playing out matches in real life. Thankfully, use of a high-fidelity simulation platform provides the next best thing.
To heighten realism, traditional video game elements—such as information overlays and fantastical features—are stripped away. Additionally, players are encouraged to embrace role-play and imagination as tools to deepen immersion, bringing them closer to the sensation of truly being out in the field.
